Hightlights of my Trip

For those of you who know me well, you know that I Love to take pictures of just about everything!..whether it's the sunset, sweet food, pretty flower, the cool chair, a vintage tea cup, my sleeping baby..doesn’t matter what or who it is, I will be there ready with my camera to capture the moment..This train ride from Portland to Sacramento was defiantly a spare in the moment kind of trip..(last minute literally) we took an over night train, had dinner on board, played games all night, went to bed and before we knew it.. woke up to RAIN in California. I was a little bumped that the weather forecast for the next 4 days were thunder rainstorms..we were hoping to get a little sunshine..but oh well. that didn't stop us from having fun and making the best of it!

Anyways..I took a million pictures (well not that many..but pretty close) I wish I could post all of them, but that would be way to many and you would probably get a little bored..so I just picked out some of my favorite highlights of our trip.

......................................................

Enjoy my little adventure~

Here I am enjoying the beautiful sunset after dinner in the dinning cart.
This is Arianna - my little 5 year old sister in law..
Morning after the train ride
Isn't she a doll? She knew the weather ahead was going to be cold..
umm..I sure didnt. as you can see below..freezing my toosch off.
...The Three of Us..

Inside the train station..wating to get picked up by our uncle.
My auntie has the exact same bird cage decor as me.  But I love what she has done with it! And YES that is a real white beautiful parakeet.
(I took it out of his cage and placed him there to pose for me)
That little birdie is just so cute. (makes me want to get a bird now!)
I went outside in the back yard and ripped some fresh lemons
 To have in my tea
 They were kinda sweet.
I love to eat them plain. So Good!
Melts mama's heart to see my son asleep so sweetly..
Next morning on our way to the mall..
...My Outfit & My Coffee...
Love this Furniture Store
My son was sure having fun!
 Coolest mirror ever.
Next Day..off to the Antiques!
Vintage Pretty Tea Cup~
 Arent these just darling?
 I almost bought this hat.
And this sweet tea cup.
 I did get this set.
I will use it at a birthday party I'm decorating this Saturday!
 I seriously wanted this picture.
 And everything down below...
What is that, a cat, a pup, nope. A fluffy bunny!
One of his favorite toys
Yes...I know! Sad..But we gave my boy his first haircut!
That baby hair just had to go!
See he likes it now! =)
My Sunday Outfit~
Zeekie didnt feel like looking...
We ended our day in Old Town Sacramento,
Went to the California State Railroad Museum, the coolest place ever!
On the day we had to leave the sun finally came out...a bit windy, but the sunshine felt nice warming my back.
Overall, we got to spend time with family..and thats what made this trip the best!

Ah! I am in love with these! You have such great style...in decor and clothes. Maybe I just really love vintage inspired looks too! :) The last one of your family is so sweet!
Looks like such a fun trip! Taking the train is nice as opposed to driving because you can relax. You have the sweetest little family and I love all of your super cute outfits!

those teacups were amazing! I would love to have one in my home someday. I also like how you guys jumped on the train and took a family trip. We remember those crazy, out of the norm times as we grow up. I'm sure your kid will have fond memories of that day!
