Decorating with Washi Tape

Lately I have been obessed with Washi Tape.
For those of you who are wondering what is Washi Tape?
For starters, washi tape comes from Japan, it is a paper tape that comes in tons of pretty colors and different patterns on a roll like regular sticky tape, and is often translucent. You can find it in 1/4″ widths up to 2 1/2 inches, and it feels more like masking tape than true “paper.”
These are some top ways to decorate with it.
1. Gift Wrap/ Tags

2. Glass Wrap
3. Journal  Wrap
 4. Inside-out security envelopes re-secured with decorative tape
5. Flag Stirrers adds that perfect touch for any party!

 6. Bottles and jam jars sprayed white then decorated with colourful washi tape – these would make pretty vases for any party occasion or just to hold flowers around your house
 7. Washi tape covered pegs - perfect for organizing your life

8. Jam jars decorated with washi tape bunting - You could fill them with flowers or tealights for a party or to decorate your home, or they could hold pens and other household items. {source}
 9. Great Tape Holder I found on etsy I want it!

 I ordered some new washi tape cant wait to use them in my projects!
Happy Creative Monday!

Okay girl, this is amazing! I need to make that journal, like right now. I'm pretty sure if I decorated all my notebooks for nursing school in Washi Tape, I'd get an A... ;) So where are you ordering it from?

Pretty Tape on Etsy has an AMAZING inventory of washi tape and pretty fast shipping time. That's where I order all of mine from and I am never disappointed in price/wait time.

These are some great ideas!!

Love the ideas! I used it this past Christmas to wrap so many of my gifts. A little brown wrap, twine and washi tape - voila! Perfection! Much love, Lisa
