{DIY} Glass Bottle Spring Display

I wanted to make a little something bright and spring filled for my fireplace mantel.
So here is a little DIY project to help you make it too!

Materials Needed:
2 Glass Empty lemonade bottles
Flatt White Spray Paint
Tape

Step 1. Let the Glass bottles soak in warm water for 5 minutes
Step 2. Remove the stickers
3. Cover the metal caps with tape
4. Spray paint the bottles

Now here comes the fun part!
Embelishing the bottles

Step 1. Using some sort of adhesive ( I perfer the martha stewart wet glue) glue the strips of paper ( I got mine from paper source) over the bottles.
Step 2. Using the hot glue, glue the green ribbon over the paper.
Step 3. Using the hot glue place the butterfly (I got my set of 3 metal butterflies from an Antique Shop) over the ribbon.
Step 4. Repeat the same steps for the second bottle. Just add the pretty buttons.
Step 5. Hot glue a button on top of the cap to hide the wording.
Step 6. By using the Distress Ink Pad you simply turn the bottles a little bit rustic looking.
Step 7. Tie string on the metal part from one bottle to the other
Step 8. Use a glue dot on the back of the letters and stick them on the string.
Thats it! Display it anywhere and how ever you like!

There are so many different ways you may display this pretty craft project.
I had some fun with it.

Now it stands happily on my fireplace mantel.
I'm just now ready and waiting for SPRING to come..

The round shape bottles can be made similar as the clear grey goose vodka bottle, or as boston glass bottles. And the ball shape 1 ltr glass bottles is like a light bulb. If you want to make the bottle with your custom shape, we also can do it for you. 750ml empty glass bottles
