{DIY} Spring Nook Corner

Yay! I Finally made some changes in our breakfast nook area.
It has more touches of spring and colors added.
I'm really happy with the result and it barely cost me anything!

What I did:
-Paint the back wall color by BEHR Paint color: April Mist
-Antique Chalkboard find
-4 bird plates from last years Anthropologie summer collection
-New Rug from Home Goods, great buy! I was looking everywhere for a round one but I figured a rectangle wont look that bad, after all the area is a rectangular shape.
-Curtains from IKEA
-Chairs- I simply switched with the ones from my dining area. The Black matched the stripes on the white curtains.
-Accessories on the table:
My 3 most favorite interior design home decor books. They fit just perfectly in the color theme.
-Tea Kettle and Tea cup/plates from Goodwill
-The Green Vase with different color lid was an old item that I found at Ross.
-Blue Sparkled Leafs in white vase old item from Pier 1 Imports.
-Glass Jar from IKEA-My favorite Flowers The Ranunculus.
-Socks- Free People. hehehe..they happened to match the theme the day I was taking pictures.

Well there you have it..from a boring brown corner to a happy spring filled new nook!

From my home to yours~
Are you decorating for the spring? Id love to hear all about it!
Have a beautiful spring weekend!

Is the April Mist more of a Blue or Green? When I looked online at the paint sample it looks blue but in your picture it looks green! Love it!
