Striped Walls & Red Aged Mirror
Now I'll show you step by step of what I did to create this simple spring clean look.
These are the materials I used for my Striped Walls...
With the help of my sister who is a genius in math she measured out the wall and how many inches each stripe should be..12.6 to be exact.
Using the Blue tape cover every other stripe and begin your painting process.
Double coats on both colors.
Double coats on both colors.
After the paint completely drys, using this amazing Distressing-Kit by making memories.
I had a little fun experiment aging the frame.
There's really no rules of how to do it..I simple just played around with it.
It's actually Step 4. =)
I actually used a bunch of other stuff from the distressing kit but it got a little messy and I didnt
want to pause and take my gloves off to snap a picture(sorry!) I was just into it and wanted to finish it quickly.
Like I said there really is no right or wrong way to distress a frame just go with the flow and see what you like.
I figured blue & red complement well side by side.
And I have many red accessories throughout my home that will blend nicely together.
Here are some of the details.
Remember these books?
Oh..and this is only a small glimpse.
Wait until you see what else I was doing this weekend!
